Elite Garages Shaftesbury Opens Its Doors With Morrisons Daily
Last year we announced a new location for Elite Garages in Shaftesbury and we can now confirm that the garage is open for business. This is the newest addition to our 20 locations already covering the south and south-east of England which also has a Morrisons Daily for added value and convenience to all of our customers and locals in the surrounding area.
Morrisons Daily Joins Elite Garages
The former supermarket building on Bell Street, Shaftesbury, has stood empty since its closure in 2017. Richard Whittemore’s family business purchased the store early in 2021 and there has already been significant interest and excitement surrounding the future of the building.
Richard and his daughter Kelsie, who represents the third generation of the family business, are excited about the prospect of bringing a fresh convenience store back to Shaftesbury. They are now able to announce they have signed a franchise partnership agreement with Morrisons.

Morrisons also has a versatile wholesale business which allows companies such as Elite Garages to run our own ‘Morrisons Daily’ franchise. The store will stock Morrisons products, alongside a range of local products.

Morrisons has been named “Supermarket of the Year” at the 2021 Retail Industry Awards as well as “Grocer of the Year” at the 2021 Grocer Gold Awards. Both of these achievements demonstrate impressive innovation, supplier relationships and shopping experiences that Morrisons offer. The supermarket’s increased focus on sustainability also played a role in winning these awards.

Morrisons Daily Shaftesbury Store Opening
